attaching pictures
got some jpgs attached to my cad drawing like xrefs, but is there a way I can kind of bind them so I don't have to send all the jpgs as seperate files along with my cad drawing?

Re: attaching pictures
You could try inserting the image as an object.
Not sure which image format (bmp/ jpg/ tif/ png) would work but if you manage to insert it as an object it should be "bound".
But i think the file needs to be a small file of lesser resolution - for it to work.
Hope that helps.

Re: attaching pictures
hokay I got it,
I opened my jpg in paint then selected copy then opened my acad drawing and selected paste and it worked. Inserting an image made in an xref and inserting an ole object just inserted the jpg icon. What a load of palava tho.

Hey, am I too late?
Disconnect the xref, then insert the image and rescale/ position to suit.
Then pat yourself on the back, open the bubbly and proceed to get plastered.
When suitably inebriated phone me, I will take over from there
