PLOT ERROR?

Did you make a NEW PC3 file?
OR a NEW CTB file?

Does this happen with other files...??
Or just this files which you fixed the colors to?

Try WBLOCKING the file out and open it and plot it...
Do you get the same error message?

I'd Try to Set up a generic .eps File Plotter, and if you can plot to to an .eps file AutoCad should be OK, and I imagine your Plotter setup is Corrupted

I have copied over all of my 'ctb files to create the .stb files so they aren't actually new, just converted. It seems to be a random thing. When I get the message, I purge EVERYTHING out of the .dwg, replot w/ no problems. It is the same error message each time.
Shocked WBLOCKING did not work. Shocked

We are locked out from being able to create any "phantom" printers/plotters or .eps file plotters. I will see if I can get the IT girl over here to set one up for me. We get along very well. Very Happy I am experiencing major slow downs w/ CAD recently so I am trying to get a new PC w/ more RAM, but I work for the government so we know how long that will take... Laughing lol! Laughing lol! that will leave me Sad . Wish me luck peeps. affraid

BTW, thanks for moving this ERROR PROBLEM? over to a new Q/A!!!

Grape you might want to try this if you haven't already.


To assign a plot style table to a layout

  1. Click the Model tab or the layout tab to which you want to assign the plot style table.

  2. Click File Page Setup Manager.At the command prompt, enter pagesetup.
  3. In Page Setup Manager, click Modify.
  4. Under Plot Style Table (Pen Assignments), select a plot style table from the list or select new to start from scratch (recommended).
  5. In the Question dialog box, click Yes or No to indicate whether the selection should be applied to the current tab only or to all layouts.
    This option is available only for the Model tab.
  6. To preview the effects of the plot style table in the layout, select Display Plot Styles.
    This option is available only for layouts.
  7. Click OK.
  8. In Page Setup Manager, click Close.
NoteIf the Display Plot Styles option was already selected in the dialog box, you must enter regen at the command prompt to display the plot style settings.

Toolbar: Layouts
Command entry: PAGESETUP
