Re: TIF Image will not plot
What is the NEW PLOTTER? OCE, HP, Xerox?
Have you installed the latest drivers?
Have you enabled the Postscript on the NEW plotter?
FYI
All these settings are done at the plot server.

Re: TIF Image will not plot
All the settings are correct. I tried exporting the image into different formats bmp, tif, jpg, gif, png & a ppt. It won't let me save it as a WMF which I think may help like it says in the FAQ area on images. I've tried all that but I don't have that other software. Even if I downloaded it, I can't install it b/c I have no admin rights.

Re: TIF Image will not plot
yes, but what I ended up doing was just to create a pdf file then plot that to the new plotter and it worked fine. I want to find out why the tif files won't plot on just that plotter. The plotter is also a scanner and it scans to 3 formats...pdf, calcs and tif. Imagine that, it will scan anything into a tif but it won't plot a tif...
Frickin annoying

Re: TIF Image will not plot
Have you tried to check the settings under advance for your plotter.....
There should be an option for memory. OR Process Dosument
"If the printer runs out of memory, select "In Computer" and print again"

Re: TIF Image will not plot
Upon checking for the memory option (it's not an option for the xerox 6204) I found a file format that lists out the different types of image files under Set Up it was set on automatic detection so I changed it to tiff detection. I think this worked but I'm wondering if it will now miss detecting a .jpg or a .cals file. Has anyone out there EVER used a .cals file extension? I think they may be common use for civil drawings when working on roads. I could be wrong...In fact I probably am...I mean I usually are...always am
