LONG VIRUS CLEANING TIP:

This works for all viruses.

If you have the patience and know how....

Next it happens....
Shut down...
reboot into SAFE mode. (Hold F7 at reboot - depending on your Windows OP Sys)

And go to my computer...
And search for all the files in the past hour or whatever time frame... YOU think you got the virus....

Then delete the files.

On occassion... NOT TOO often...
But the VIRUS might still launch. and you might not be allowed to delete....

GO TO START>RUN
taskmgr

And try to find the name of the VIRUS and END the process...
Then try to delete...

After that...

GO TO START>RUN
regedit

Now go into every FOLDER of the tree...
And manually delete... ONLY!!!!! ONLY!!!! the virus related names...

(It might be best to make a backup of the "Regedit" BEFORE doing this.....)

Once you think you cleaned all references to your VIRUS...

YOUR MACHINE IS CLEAN!!!!!!!!

Pretty much this is exactly what ALL VIRUS CLEAN SOFTWARES DO.

/////////////////////////////////////////

Like I said this tip is long....
BUT very useful.....

And once you get the hang of it....

TRUST ME...
You'll hit every site trying to get a VIRUS just to clean out again...
LOL

At least that was me... Smile

That is nice to know, and I thank you very kindly, but for those who do not really know what you're talking about, could you explain in a little more detail on how to go about going through the registry, and others? I know how to do this, but some may not be as easily thrilled knowing you alotted us such a plethera of information, and I would hate to see someones HDD crash because they didnt know the correct angle of approach to completing this task.
